An Adventure

On Sunday we went on an adventure to get our Christmas tree.  Instead of going to our usual spot (Lowe's) we tried out Buffalo Bill's.  It was recommended to us by Mommy's friends at school. We were terribly unprepared for being out in the cold (although it wasn't that cold...in the 40s and not windy).  There was so much to explore...we will be more prepared next year!

Brady was ready to get a tree in his Christmas red and Santa hat.

I talked all morning about going to the tree farm.  In the car I kept telling Mommy and Daddy, "This is a really long way to get to the tree farm."

Daddy and Brady when we arrived

We stopped for a family photo with Santa

I told Santa (again) that I want a remote control robot for Christmas.  I couldn't figure out why he didn't remember that since I already told him at the mall.  Santa gave me and Brady a candy cane and said to be sure Mommy & Daddy didn't eat it!

We found this tree and thought it might be a good one for our family.

Yep!  It's a keeper!

We took the tree to be shaken and wrapped up

We warmed up inside with face painting

and ornament making.  We also ate a cookie.

Look at these cute little snow boys

Daddy tied the tree to the roof our out truck and we drove it home

Ready for a candy cane on the ride home

It was a really yummy candy cane

Brady fell asleep from all of the excitement

When we got in the house he perked right up.  We had so much fun getting our tree at the tree farm!
