7 Months!

 

 Brady was very excited to turn 7 months old in November.  He is getting better at sitting for photos.  It still takes Mommy awhile to get him to smile when she's holding the camera, but she got a few good shots.

At 7 months Brady is starting to scoot himself backwards and just before Thanksgiving he got up on all fours and is scooting back and forth on his knees.  Mommy hopes he won't actually crawl until after Christmas so that our tree will be safe.  

Brady has two teeth on the bottom and seems to have about 4 more coming if you gauge by the amount of drool he produces.  No more teeth poking through yet though.

Brady is eating 4 bottles/day plus a couple ounces when he goes to sleep.  He also eats cereal with fruit for breakfast, a veggie at lunch and a veggie with fruit at dinner.  He loves to eat!  Brady started picking little snack puffs and putting them in his mouth.  Sometimes they get stuck on his hand or fall on the floor, but he's getting better everyday. 

Brady has also taken an interest in Maggie.  She lets Brady "pet" her (or grab big handfuls of hair).  Mommy says she just likes the attention. 

Brady is still making a /g/ and /eh/ sound.  He loves when you copy the sounds he makes.  He has also made a /f/ sound once, but no "mama" yet.  Mommy keeps working on it though.  

Brady's favorite book is the "Body Book."  He giggles when we point to his body parts as we read.  

Brady continues to be enthralled by his big brother and doesn't mind when I am rough with him even though Mommy tells me to be gentle with him.

No measurements for this month...we go back to the doctor in January. 

Brady did get a flu shot this month though and did a very good job.  He only cried a little when the nurse gave him the poke.

At 7 1/2 months Brady is no moving into 12 month clothes.  Mommy is pretty sure Brady will be my protector once I get into school as he will be my BIG little brother.
